Delivery Conditions

Local

A local customer is defined as within the service area of Vancouver to the West, Hope to the East.

• We require a minimum of five (5) business days lead time to ready an order to ship. This will allow us to assemble the best plants, arrange appropriate transportation and obtain the necessary paperwork eg. Phyto-sanitary certificates.

Non-Local Orders

We are happy to offer to arrange transportation for our customer’s orders and will endeavor to minimize the shipping costs to the customer through competitive quoting and blending of non-full truck orders within similar geographical coordinates.

• In order to minimize the freight to all customers on a load we will try for a maximum of four drops per truck. In order to achieve this we will require a minimum order size of ten (10) feet of product per non-local customer. This ten (10) foot minimum shall be defined as the equivalent of 1,900 1 gallon plants. (For example; an order of 1,000 1 gallons and 450 2 gallons would qualify.)
• Only full truck loads will be shipped. (Unless otherwise specified by a customer on a single customer load.) A full truck load is defined as either; 42,500lbs or 53ft, whichever is achieved first. For individual customer orders that are not full trailer loads, we will ship when a full load is achieved, unless the customer wishes to absorb the higher freight cost. For combined customer loads, orders will be shipped on a “first come/first served basis” to individual geographical areas.
• We require a minimum of seven (7) business days lead time to ready an order to ship. This will allow us to assemble the best plants, arrange appropriate transportation and obtain the necessary paperwork eg. Phyto-sanitary certificates.
• When a truck is designated as full and ready to ship, we will submit the load for quote to a minimum of three service providers.
• If a customer has a particular carrier they prefer for their loads, they can notify our shipping department and, provided it is a full load, or a partial and all customers prefer the same carrier, we will contact that carrier first
• Subject to certain conditions, we are pleased to be able offer to include the billing for freight on same invoice as the product you have ordered. These conditions include, but are not limited to; payment history, length of association, credit limit. The amount of freight will be included in the calculation of credit limit.
• All inquiries concerning transportation issues should be directed to the shipping department at Sidhu and Sons Nursery Ltd and we will work with you to have them resolved to your satisfaction.
